The Queensland Canoeing Board are proud to announce that there will be no increase in fees for this coming membership period.

2010 WINTER CANOE POLO SERIES

 

HOSTED BY: Centenary Canoeing & Kayaking Club Inc.

VENUE: Grey St, Springfield Lakes, SPRINGFIELD

This year the QLD Canoe Polo committee are pushing for a more 'social' atmosphere at the Winter Series Comp. Since it will be run over 6 comp days, the days will be shorter and teams will play only approx 3-4 games each, rather than the 6 that have been played in previous years. This will allow for the chance to play some mixed, non-competitive games, and complete some referee training.


CATEGORIES

OPEN A – Experienced players

OPEN B – Recreational/ New/ Beginner players with less than 1 yr experience,  those who cannot roll.

Other Categories – Junior, Women, Vets, & Masters. To be determined by nomination numbers & AC Polo Guidelines.

 

 

 


 

Entry Fee

Junior Category                                             $175 (Inc. GST) (U18 all Team Members)

All Other Categories                                      $300 (Inc. GST)

Random Player Fee                                       $11.00 Current QC Members - For one off players that are not in a team.

                     The committee will place the player in a team for the day.

Trial Canoeist Fee                                           (QC fee of $5.50 Snr, $3.30 Jnr.) + above Random Player Fee

Aust. Canoe Polo Players Levy                    $10/Player (In addition to entry fee) SEE NOTE BELOW

NOTE: Aus. Canoe Polo Players Levy must be included for all players that didn’t compete @ 2010 QLD Canoe Polo Champs.


 ELIGIBILITY

The 2010 Winter Canoe Polo Series hosted by Centenary Canoeing & Kayaking Club is open ONLY to current financial members of clubs affiliated with either QCI or ACI. ...

People can come along as a trial canoeist, however only for 3 days and paying the above trial & Random player fees.

·         Each team must provide 2 referees

·         All teams must provide duty persons for Timekeeping, scoring, & goal line controllers.

·         Duty times can be allocated & found on the draw once released.

·         Also teams will be allocated Set up or Pull down of Field, Goals, & competition Equipment

Players must play in 50% of the Round Robin matches to be eligible for the Finals.

'Chillout' is a program for young people aged between 10 and 17 years. The program provides opportunities to keep active and go extreme during the school holidays. Bookings are essential. Please contact the council on - 07 3403 8888 to make a booking.
